Quiz Reminder!

|

This is just a friendly reminder that we have our 3.1-3.2 quiz tomorrow.

Looking over the homework and reviewing notes is an excellent way to prepare.  Reworking old problems that you have solved can be helpful too, since you can compare your solution to past work.

See you all tomorrow!

Friday's Work & Solutions to Homework

|

Here are the solutions to the homework from Friday.  If you missed class, you can download a clean version to work on here.  We also covered a few ways to prove two lines are parallel.  Check this out for a quick catch-up.

Also, remember that we have a quiz on Monday covering the material from 3.1-3.2.  This worksheet and the work we did on Thursday are a good representation of the types of problems that you might see.  It would also be good to review assignments 15 and 16.

Here is the template I mentioned in class (1st period).

You need to fill out the relationship and angle pair formed for each pair of angles.  You should have this template completed for tomorrow and be prepared to discuss your discoveries.  As you are filling out the template, here are some things to keep in mind.

Relationships could be: None, Supplementary, Complementary, Congruent

Angle Pairs Formed could be: Vertical Angles, Linear Pair, Corresponding Angles, Alternate-Interior Angles, Alternate-Exterior Angles, Same-Side Interior Angles, Same-Side Exterior Angles.

You should be able to complete the following sentences:

*Make sure that you have tried to set up number 39 and solve it.  We will be discussing it tomorrow.
